I heard someone who was in the Church when I came in & who has since backslid, might be on one of these sites.

I checked it out & sure enough there he was!



Advertised as "Gay" and looking for a partner!

I'm not gay or looking for a partner but I've had a MySpace page for years. I have a Facebook one too but never go on there.

Yeah, that's kind of what I took from your post.

How do you quantify how far someone has fallen? I mean, are there varying degrees of backslidden? "Today, he's 2 steps from Heaven, oh no now he's 18 steps from Heaven!"

There really aren't degrees of backslidden. One is in right relationship with God, or one isn't. When you're not, you sin. It's not some horrific thing, it's a simple fact. One person might sleep with everyone they meet, one might embezzle money, one might explore the occult, one might drink themselves into oblivion every night, one might go in search of a same sex relationship, each is trying to meet that need for an intimate relationship with God.

I had a myspace page for .... oh....about .......5 minutes??

Just got it built and one of them spam messages hit that was like

" hello sexy, so your new here, come check out my site at XXX &%@#$"

Wife said " I don't think so" :girlfriend



and that was that...lol :slaphappy:slaphappy

Potential employers are now looking up people on MySpace and Facebook to see what kind of people they are outside of the interview.

I had a MySpace, but I just deleted my account a few days ago. I have a Facebook account and a Tagged account. Don't spend much time on either of them. They are relatively new. I really like Tagged. A mini MySpace type place.
