Why do women "stand by" the men who treat them this way? And what kind of sicko would even ask his hurting wife to show her face in public in the middle of all this?

I don't know if I could do what some of those politician's wives do, stand next to them when they announce their immorality to the world. He didn't even look all that sorry, if you ask me, just sorry he was caught.

Maybe if he was standing there with two black eyes, then I could do it, and the world would know he'd had to answer for it, and I'd have a little pride left and even muster up a grin. :coffee2
