Immediate prayer request
 

We just had a girl walk into the church office off the street who has been standing here asking questions about the Bible for about 20 minutes and she has asked the other secretary if she has time to give her a bible study right now.

So they have gone into another room, I am asking for anyone who has a minute to say a prayer for her. It appears from the questions she is asking that she is very afraid of the demon world, and of possession.

She has been taking classes at a Catholic Church, and is very confused. She actually came into the office last week and asked to use the phone and she and I got into a pretty lengthy discussion about Gods forgiveness, she was not able to comprehend that He is willing to forgive any and all sin. She is about 17 years old.

Update, she just left, the other secretary said she got her to stop focusing on the demonic, she just really encouraged her that if you will open yourself up the the spirit of God, Satan has no power in your life. Told her about the power in the name of Jesus.

Apparently the girls mother is Catholic, so she didn't want to say a lot negative about Catholicism, she just really encouraged her that if she is really serious about learning more about God, the Bible is her best resource. She shared some scripture with her and gave her a Bible. The girl said she would be back for Bible study tonight, so keep her in your prayers.
