I just received this email from Kim Collingsworth. She and her family are southern gospel singers and musicians, traveling and recording around the U.S. and Canada...

Hi Barb,

Thanks again for all your support and prayers.. I need you to turn the heat up on your praying.. Satan is really fighting right now. I am (for the first time ever) having horrible problems with my hands and arms. They feel as if they weigh a hundred pounds each and it's difficult for me to play the piano right now. I need prayer. I am confident that Satan is fighting the concert for next Saturday night and doesn't want it to happen. . God has given me the songs and the mind for the entire evening and I believe that this is an attack. Please pray....

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world! What a verse!

The service she mentioned for Sat. is a video taping they have set in Cincinnati...the last she had emailed me regarding the taping, they had almost 3,000 requests for the free tickets for this event.

The family have two concerts today and one tomorrow. I assured her the prayer warriors would be on the job...thank you so much!!

I emailed her your prayer last night, and she wrote back a big thank you...that was around 10 pm and they were preparing to get on the road.

She has been on my heart all afternoon. The first service was at 2 today and the second will be at 7 tonight. The service tomorrow is at 3 pm...

I'll certainly be praying for this request as well. I won't do one of those "It might be...." things, but, the symtoms seem familiar. Whatever the problem is, our God is BIGGER! Please keep us posted of ant developments, Barb.

Woke up at 4 am for some reason...anyway, this was in my inbox and was sent around midnite...


Hi Barb,

Thank you so much for your prayers! I am somewhat better today and I'm still trusting the Lord.. I was able to make it through two concerts today and I'm okay.. My hands are still not quite back to normal but I woke up this morning feeling much better than yesterday.. Thank the Lord for his touch.. I'm still trusting.. I really do feel the prayers of God's people right now. Please keep it up... I thank all of you so much.. I could tell a difference even last night and I told Phil that I was feeling better already. I believe in the power of prayer because I have seen it work over and over..

Again, thank you for interceding.. It means more than you know.

Great and Mighty Lord God,

Again this morning we bring Kim Collingsworth and her precious
family before Your Throne, humbly asking You to be with them
today in this concert as they honor You with their anointed singing
and playing, bringing glory to Your Name! Once again touch and
anoint Kim's arms, fingers and hands as she uses them to bring
glory to You, in Jesus Name! Thank You, Thank You, JESUS!
