Step(s) to being saved

I know another thread about STEPS.
Just stick with me here.

Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Luke 7:50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Acts 2:21,38, 39
21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 15:11
But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Acts 16:30-31
30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

I know there is a lot here. Sorry

I want to make a point.

If I listen to the one steppers talk then all I have to do is believe? right?
Does my belief lead me to do anything else?

If I listen to the three steppers then as long as I follow repentence, baptism in Jesus name, and receive the Holy Ghost I am saved. Do I have to believe anything or just obey what it says?

If you look above there seems to be many things that save me. So do I simply endure to the end to be saved?
Do I believe and get baptised? Oh and is that in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost or Jesus name, or does it matter?
Do only women get saved by faith or can I just have faith and be saved also?
Is is just the name that saves us?
Maybe it is our belief in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, can I just believe on the grace of Jesus and be okay or do I need to believe his name includes Lord and Christ in it also?

ANYONE SEE WHERE I AM GOING?????
Do I really have to spell it out??

Some of the stuff we 'debate' about seems so TRIVIAL and SILLY. Anyone want to throw some thougths out to my questions? See I really do not know if the one steppers really think that belief is all or do they believe that belief leads to the rest.

I guess my input would be that "most" of the stuff that is debated is trivial. Salvation is more relationship than it is about formula. For God so loved the world... and if we would so love God all the details will be worked out in the relationship.

I like that. I would have to agree with it.

I think people pick and choose what part of the bible they want to believe.

Re: Step(s) to being saved

Works accompany salvation; therefore, salvation glorifies the Lord Jesus in our doing the will of God....in all things. It is not a formula, it is a process in obeying truth that leads the corporate church as well as each individual to the fullness of the measure, to the full stature of Christ; that is, full maturity to the image of Jesus. The book of Revelation reveals Jesus speaking to his church as to perfect works "for I know thy works" is spoken to each individual church...for He requires a bride without spot or blemish that has made herself ready. There is more to come for the church in the glory of Christ through His body in salvation when all that are saved shall hear "well done thou good and faithful servant"..those that have done good speaks volumes as to perfect works and the faithful have kept these things of faith unto the end. Does one have to repent?...of course. Is water baptism required?..of course. Does one have to have the baptism of the Holy Ghost? ...of course. Does one have to be led of the Spirit of God? ....of course. Does one have to obey God and grow from faith to faith; from glory to glory until we all reach the full measure of Christ; all being in the image of Christ? ...of course. Does one have to be holy? ...of course. Jesus has made the way...all we have to do is walk in his footsteps in doing the will of God. just some thoughts....

I certainly agree with you there
unfortunately it isn't making the Bible to fit us that is important. We must fit ourselves to the Bible.

Thank God
Someone else who feels like I do. I am some days afraid I am the only one that believes that. I know I am not but to hear the way some speak it feels like it.
