I just received my book...
 

today I received a 50 page book called Television Advertising, Televangelism & The United Pentecostal Church - A Good Idea? It was written by Larry Booker, Kenny Godair, Peter F. Connell, and Nathanial Wilson

I'll post some thoughts after reading it.

Anyone else get one - read it yet?

Are all pastors of the upc supposed to get one? I'd love to read it...

I don't know but since I am a "nobody" in the org. I would guess that it went out to the entire membership.

I am assuming they think it IS a good idea?

Is their next title going to be "Short Sleeve Shirts and Blouses and the United Pentecostal Church - A Good Idea?"

If it's only 50 pages you can read it in a very short time.

What do you think of it? Give us a synopsis and bit of a review. :)

Will the book be made into a movie? If so I am just going to wait for that to come out.

Will this book be advertised on TBN?

I won't have time to read it until after church tomorrow. I'll post some thoughts tomorrow night.

You can make fun if you want to but at least someone is doing something to defend their position. I wish that we had more things like this about many issues.

The good thing is that now there is something definitive to talk about.

Nobody is a nobody. We're all somebodies in God's eyes. He calls us by name. He knows our thoughts, our strengths, our weaknesses, our desires, our tiredness, confusion, frustrations, dreams, disappointments, hopes, plans and vision.

What is passed over by man ... what seems weak and effective and ineffectual to himself and to others .... may be making an impact for eternity in ways that we do not know and cannot tell. But God Almighty, Master of the Universe does know!

Nobody is a nobody. :)
