I was notified by Blue Cross Blue Shield that a medication that I am on would be changing coverage effective Jan.1, 2008. Luckily, I was able to get three months supply at the 2007 price which was $40 for three months.

This medicine cost $1600 per month, so only having to pay $40 for three months is an exceptional blessing.

The new coverage was going to cost me $200 per month for the same drug. I was concerned at how I was going to be able to afford to keep taking this.

Well, today I had an appt. with my doctor and mentioned what was going on with BCBS. She called the nurse in and asked if I would be able to use the assistance program that is offered by this drug company. She said - absolutely...........so, thank the Lord!!!!

Instead of costing $200 a month I will only have to pay $75 per month. It's still quite a bit more than I was paying, but I'm just thankful this program is available!!!!

Just wanted to send a shout up for this big blessing!!!!
