Re: Is Total Financial Collapse Ahead?
I read alternative News sources and they all seem to think there is a great depression on the way.

Re: Is Total Financial Collapse Ahead?
One source was quoted as saying that housing foreclosures have not been this high in the US since the Great Depression!

I read up to the part about young couples not enjoying the standard of living their parnets do for the first time in history.... and wanted to puke.
this person is an IDIOT. good grief. I read a lot of statements about how bad it is but not a single shred of evidence to back up this dumb claims! Look people it is likely we will find a resession at the end of this but here are some things that need to be understood. 1. the stock market set its current low in JANUARY! we have not retrurned to that bottom a single time. 2. by Sept. of this year, the annual reports of companies will be starting to report year over year numbers with last years bottoms figured in, which means, in all likelyhood, resession numbers will be figured in and things will be pointing to recovery. 3. the Feds actions has led to stronger positioning of the Tbill, and while I aint going to try to tell you what that means, it is a pretty good thing. 4. the financials that have lead the slow down, have reposistioned for the most part all the bad debt they owned and are looking much stronger in their latest reports. 5. India and China are emerging as strong second world economies moving toward first world status. that means greater and greater consumer demand. that means a stronger world wide economy which means a stronger over all picture. the bigger an economy is, the more it takes to damage it. honestly this doom and gloom stuff is getting old. especially when I have to read articles written by people who's understanding of economics came from a one simister eleventh grade class taught by some highschool coach who would rather have been on a baseball field. seriously tune in at 6pm Central time to CNN and watch Kudlow and company. stop reading some goof ball website where crazies are pontificating about things they know nothing about. |
