Forum Technical Problems?

I tried to get on earlier today and got a message something like "denied access to forum because of entry from blacklisted site" or something similar.
Then next time I came on no problem. Anyone had problems today or is it just me?

are you at your workplace? if so, you're probably behind a company firewall....

*also accurately renamed thread title, for your benefit Michael*

I was trying to get in from the same place I always do. My own PC at my house. The warning directed me to come to a certain site to resolve the issue. I was leary of clicking on it thinking maybe a hack job was waiting. It seemed strange. O well.

Can you provide more information? It's impossible to help in tech situations without more specifics...like what was the site it was directing you to? What was the exact message you received? Was it this board giving you that message?...what was blacklisted? Your ISP? Or perhaps the website you were on before coming to this one?

Could you have typed in the wrong domain name?

Sorry but I cant remember vividly. It was from V something. I am not hip to many tech things. I only reported it because I was concerned someone was trying to damage the forum in some way. I did not let it linger on my screen thinking maybe it was a virus set up of some kind.

Well if no one else had problems thats the end of it.

Maybe you typed in the wrong address OR your PC has already been compromised and is routing your web pages....

Is your virus scanner and spyware scanner recently updated with the latest sigs?

I did not type it in. I clicked on the link in my favorites. I remember the word "proxy" being in it.

Prax or BOOMM, did we ever nail this concern/question down?
