Competing Pastors, the Cherry Caper
The following is a "hypothetical"....so don't ask me for names or locations :-)
Pastor V 's church sells cherries in season to raise money. They not only sell cherries in their city but also in the city of Pastor O's church.... Pastor O's church started to sell cherries and went to a big "Mart" type store to sell cherries out in front. Pastor V was enraged and told Pastor O that this was HIS territory even though this store was on Pastor O's town. Pastor V actually has a number of locations in Pastor O's town while Pastor O refused to sell in Pastor V's town considering that would be infringing on Pastor V's territory. Pastor V and Pastor O are of the same organization or were but are both of the same Denomination (Oneness Apostolic) Pastor A's church is in the same town as Pastor V but way on the other side...Pastor A's church is of the same Denomination as the other two but is of a different organization. Pastor A's church decided to sell cherries recently. Pastor V called the distributer and told him NOT to sell cherries to Pastor A's church. What would you think of such a situation? Is that right? |

Re: Competing Pastors, the Cherry Caper
This is a repeat of an identical situation I was familiar with some years ago. Some people are truly blinded by their own ignorance and need to wash their eyes with some tears of repentance. Pastor V is completely in the wrong and needs to remember the Christ that he's supposed to represent. But in my limited experience, of a few years, this type of person never can be convinced of their wrong. Sad ... over some cherries!!!
