Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

pertaineth -

"something prepared, that is, any apparatus (as an implement, utensil, dress, vessel or weapon): - armour ([-bearer]), artillery, bag, carriage, + furnish, furniture, instrument, jewel, that is made of, X one from another, that which pertaineth, pot, + psaltery, sack, stuff, thing, tool, vessel, ware, weapon, + whatsoever."

I Corinthians 6:9 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,"

Just an interesting sidenote - one meaning of "effeminate" is catamite...which according to Wikipedia (my new favorite resource!) is "...the younger partner in a pedaristic relationship between two males, a popular arrangement in many areas of the ancient world."

For my kids, I also go with we are "fearfully and wonderfully made", in that God made us the gender He wanted us to be.

Miss B - those would be the scriptures I would use too.

And, no Deut. doesn't mean I shouldn't wear pants made for a woman. That scripture is dealing with woman and man not trying to be the opposite of what they are - or for your purposes - gender blenders.

Not wrong, but I wouldn't wear them. I like pretty shoes!
