I know brother. My daughter kept playing that song over and over, and it was just background noise. She kept saying Mom listen to the words. I finally did and it does bring me to tears. Why aren't I?

What an awesome video Jeannie, I often think of the missionaries when I hear this song. But not only missionaries and preachers must be doing. We are the Body! Why aren't we?

Listening to this song today reminded me of Rhoni, because she and I met when it came out last year. Every song I have heard of Casting Crowns I've enjoyed...great vocals and lyrics that really minister.

Yes as well as Third Day. My CD's got stolen. :(
So I borrow from my kids.

But if I ever hear the one Jesus Take The Wheel again, it will be too soon. That's the one my daughter wants to play every time she gets in my car.

I hear this song about every day, and like you I think of missionaries. But more importantly I think about if I'm reaching, healing, teaching, going, and showing as I should be. And I ask myself why not? I'm not real sure what the real answer is, but I think it comes down to personal pride. Oh that I will be what my Lord calls me to be today, tomorrow and forever.

I don't know, that song has a good message to it, but there is something about it that makes me not want to hear it very much....could it be that I don't want to hear that I can't do it myself and must rely on Him? In my case (and I'm not suggesting it's your case) it seams to me that pride is rearing it's ugly head.
