I was thinking about you when I ran across this song today. I was looking for something by Natatlie Grant and noticed a clip that had both her and Wyonna Judd singing. Being curious I viewed that and went from there landing at "I Want to Know What Love Is". I was very moved by it. Listened to it six times! lol At least, I thought you could appreciate it and know where I was coming from when you listened to it. I think because you and I have similar personalities as we can be outspoken, but we both have a deep burden in our hearts for the lost.

There is a woman that has visited our church twice. She was there yesterday. She is Hispanic, has a very pretty face, but is very overweight. I can sense her hurting about many things. She can barely look you in the eye when you speak to her.

I feel so overwhelmed by her need for God today. As I listened to this song, I kept thinking of her, especially, and others that what to know what real love is about. They will never find that outside of Jesus Christ. I know!

I chose Wyonna Judd's clip, for this song, because she does a good job and is in my key range and my style. lol So, if anyone is offended - close your eyes and just listen to the song. lol It can only get worse - taped on the Ophrah show. lol

Anyway, I was thinking how this girl will need to meet God and continue walking so that he can continue to heal her. Keep her in your prayers, Jeanie!

I just needed to express this burden today!

I think I saw this show-she definitely sings it better than Don Henley does.

There are so many hurting people that can relate to these words (probably most of can too).

I hope you get a chance to minister to the lady you are speaking about, but I know you are praying for her and that will make such a difference in her life even if she doesnt know you are.

I'm being careful with her. I asked her if she felt comfortable at our church because we would like to have her back. I just wanted her to know that someone cares! I think she will be back. She said she felt comfortable.

I prayed that God would, eventually, move her into a Sunday School room! I'm believing for that!!!!

Thank you for that! I appreciate those words, but I am nothing special at all-I really hope to do more God and reach more people, I know reaching people is what it is all about.

You hit the nail on the head, Jeanie. I remember, as a new convert, thinking, "I wonder what it would be like to be a Sunday School teacher, etc."

What I found out is - When God puts you in a position, He opens doors and it just works. It doesn't work when God doesn't open doors.

So, no we are not "more special" than others, but in His eyes- the apple of His eye. He wants us to succeed and He keeps making a way where there seems to be no way.

God is able!!!
