Emergency Prayer Request - Urgent
 

I am typing this at 1:02 am CST. My son in law is on a business trip in Memphis alone. He was going to Beale Street tonight to listen to some music.

My daughter spoke to him about 9:45 pm and he said he was going to head to his hotel before long.

10:45 he text messaged my son that he was still at Beale street and having a good time.

11:55 pm my daughter called him to wish him goodnight and he acted weird and asked her in a monotone what the number of the cell phone he had was (he had borrowed one of our phones) and after she told him she heard him repeat the number to someone and then he hung up. She was freaked out and called him back and he told her she had to get off the phone and stop calling him it was a matter of life and death. When she asked why he told her his blood was everywhere and he had to go

She asked him if he had been in a car accident and he said no that he didn't have the car and hung up.

She waited a few minutes and called back and he said she was going to get him killed and not to call back.

Laer he text messaged her that he had been mugged but that he was going to get his stuff back but not to call or his life was in danger.

At this point I had my daughter call the Memphis police. Although they took the info and said they would send a car to the Beale street area to look around they sounded worthless.

Please pray that he is ok. I fear that he may have been kidknapped by the people that possibly stole his car and mugged him. We also fear because of him saying he was bleeding all over the place.

Hopefully it is all some horrible misunderstanding and he is ok but it does not sound good.

My daughter is seven months pregnant and obviously freaking out right now.

My daughter just got a quick phone call from him and he was robbed at gunpoint at an ATM. Money and laptop were stolen.

Still don't know about the blood and other stuff. At least we know he is alive. Will update when we know more.

Oh heavens, just found out the person he was giving the phone number to was some homeless guy who witnessed his mugging and who had told him he knew the guys who had robbed him and could take him to them. He had the homeless guy in his car with him looking for the muggers / robbers. Didn't find them of course.

Thanks for everybody's prayers. Still don't know if he is hurt but if so apparently not seriously since he is driving and talking.
