Discrimination?

We discriminate all the time in life. We make choices based on what we feel is best often. This story blows me away. A female corrections officer age 50, was raped and murdered by a male prisoner...

Why is a female corrections officer in a male prison? Age 50? Sorry but those places to me should only be guarded by younger and stronger males! That is my opinion. If that is not PC too bad

That is a good question. And why would she want to be there or why would her employer put her in that situation. I'm with you on the PC stuff.

her employer probably did it because the law says so. this is the result of how confused our society has become and scared of the liberal left and their shrill rantings

Re: Discrimination?

Well, I worked in a Federal prison for a while, not as a guard but as a clerk. However, I did worked in a unit, and I had to walk through the yard and a housing area to get to my office, as well as supervise prisoners who worked for me.

There were many female guards, and I would guess that the reason that they wanted those jobs was the same reason that I wanted mine. The paycheck. There are not too many jobs that a woman without an education can get that pays comparable salaries to men and women. And COs make decent money.

Brother,

I believe this is the true breaking of Deut 22:5.
And don't even get me started on women in combat.
Have You ever looked up the word "wear" in that verse?

Am I missing something here?

Yes, its sad what happened to her.
But what does discrimination have to do with it though?

He means that we should be able to discriminate if doing otherwise would put women in danger.
