Mocking those that don't practice the same "liberties" as you...

Learning to Function in the Laws of Liberty.

I understand that it goes both ways. Many times conservative Apostolics judge and condemn those who do not hold to the same standards or levels of conformation as they. Also, those who practice certain levels of liberty often mock and judge those on the other side of the spectrum. I find this disheartening.

Romans 14, 1 Corinthians 8:9, Galatians 5 all speak to the biblical principles of the laws of liberty. Is open mockery of things that men and women hold to as principles of godly living acceptable to God? I value the discussion here. It's why I signed up. I appreciate the open discussion and honest debate. When we digress into the mockery of things that people here hold dear, however, does it displease the God who has granted us liberty over tradition?

You are not going to like this forum. Mockery is all most liberals do here. They despise anything holy and pure, especially Apostolic doctrine that is unshakeable like the Name, baptism, and the oneness of God.

Good luck GL, you have a rough road ahead. You are about to be descended on by a pack of truth hating wolves.

:blink

I've lurked here and there for quite some time. I understand many of the dynamics of the forum.

I'm also extremely open-minded to discussion. It's the mockery which we should all admit is ungodly.

An example of why an open forum may not be the best place for some?

Why is that those who might differ with us on some points are equated to despising anything holy and pure ... or hating Apostolic doctrine?

Shamgar ... GL quite accurately stated that it happens on both sides ... or is it only mockery when it comes from the other side???

I totally agree, especially if I'm getting mocked! :winkgrin

Again, good luck in your search to end profanity on this forum.
It will never happen.

I am most certain that I have it all wrong.

Carry on Mr. Alicea. You are intelligent enough to lead many astray. You are doing a wonderful job of it.

I'll never mock (critisize or try to convert to my thinking) a snake handler again.

I'll try to be understanding to the healing power hair folks too.

If you don't like it - there are other forums that you may want to go to!
Just because we don't buy into your little idea and doctrine - does NOT mean we are not Apostolic or that we are liberal!
Most everyone on here baptizes in Jesus Names and believes that there is One God and speaks in tongues.
