Your thoughts on Iran?

As i' sure most of you know Iran test fired missile's on 6-8-08 during war games. Then early this morning they fired more missile's in the exercise. In a statement released out of Tehran,Iran this action was intended to show there ability and willingness to strike back if attacked by israel or U.S.over it's nuclear program. I'm sure you have all heard that Iran has said it wants to "wipe israel off the map". What do you make of this? is it just a show of power to gain a better bargining position as N.Korea did? ...Does anyone think that this could be the begining of prophesy bieng fufilled...as john haggie often teaches? is it nothing to worry about? whatsyour opinion?

I don't know if it's prophetic. What I do know is that Russia has also acted threatening. Right now we have our hands full and if Iran made a bid to disrupt the Strait of Hormuz, oil could go up as much as $8-$10 a gallon overnight. It could completely wreck our economy and bring us to our knees financially.

If they really want to do something crazy...now is the time. We're pretty weak at the moment.

Our country is not weak, we are preoccupied. Militarily, we have Active Duty combat troops that have not even seen combat in Iraq or Afghanistan yet.

I do agree that this is the time to do something, if they were feeling froggy. But, I'm convinced that Israel are the ones feeling froggy, of course, under the covert influence of her greatest ally, America.

Iran is emboldened, covertly, by the help of the Russians.

This could be the beginnings of something very terrible.

Not as terrible, I think that to begin/instigate a conflict with Iran would fit into the Republican's agenda just fine.

I donīt know if the missles has anything to do with prophecy but Iran is certainly in prophecy.

It is my opinion that Iran/Persia and Russia and some others will attack Israel at some time based on the way I understand Ezekiel chapter 38. In my opinion, that is still future.

It is also my opinion that the Iranian nuclear facility should be taken out but the world will probably dawdle and do nothing until Israel goes ahead and does it.

what would be your justification for taking out their nuclear capabilities of providing resources for their citizens?
