Its just not right
 

Before anybody thinks this is a UPC bashing thread. Its not. My whole family is UPC preachers, pastors, evangelist, etc..

Here is my deal. My dad told me the other night, he went to a UPC Campmeeting. And the evangelist started out preaching a great message, then all of a sudden got on the one-God. Thats fine. But, then he starts making fun of others who believe in the trinity. Making jokes, like God said come here Jesus, and Jesus said, yes father. But said it all in a very cocky way. Making fun way.

Tacky, Tacky, Tacky, and more Tacky.

Come on. Its just not right!!!!

And trust me. We know we don't have any room to be making fun.

Lets use a little wisdom. Campmeeting or Not.

I've seen this happen too, and it always bothers me. We should all remember that but for the grace of God, we might not have the revelations that we have either. Instead of making fun of those who don't know, it would be much better to pray for them.

The times I have experienced that, I was totally appalled and ashamed to be Oneness Pentecostal.

Doesn't that Azusa drama have a portion in it where they make fun of other people?

It just goes to show you how desperate people are to capture the hearts of men, after all, if they were going after their heads, they would lose horribly.

Preserve the culture, the end ALWAYS justify the means...Always.

Tell em the world is flat, tell them they are going to be a millionaire, tell them they get three wishes!...if it brings souls to the Truth...who cares how they got here, we'll tell them the truth later.

NO ONE can even understand "oneness" the way I hear some spiritual egg-heads talk about it -and then they make the statement that no one can be saved unless they understand it in the exact same way either.

And I keep asking this, but WHO believes in three unique "Gods" out there? I don't know of any trinitarians who do.

I am never ashamed to be ONENESS Pentecostal Apostolic or otherwise. What I am ashamed of is the, pardon my French, IDIOTS that do these things.
This type of thing is the very reason I will not listen to Chuck Swindoll. It was one of his comments on the radio and he spoke against Oneness Pentecostals. I used to listen and like his stuff till that day. Never again will I listen.
But it goes both ways. If you are going to make fun of someone then I am done listening to you. There are ways of saying what you mean without making fun or putting them down.
