I am probably as anti-Obama as you can get.... However, as wrong as it was for this prayer to be published.. it definitely shows me another side of Obamas personal mindset.

Still voting for McCain though.. unfortunately it's the only choice I have

Brother, Obama is not this evil person so many people want to make him out to be. BTW, how can you be voting for McCain? Isn't he double married? :D

how is voting for mccain the only choice you have when there are at least 2 other candidates running, not including obama?

vote your conviction-- if mccain isn't it, vote for Barr or even McKinney.

but mccain needs no one's vote with reservations. either u want him or u don't.

if he votes for someone "double married" he is supporting divorce. You agree with divorce as it is God's righteous way of doing things.

Yes. If you vote for a man who is divorced that means you wholeheartedly believe in and endorse divorce!! :D

On hotel stationary, he penned the following prayer, according to Maariv, which ran a photo of the note: "Lord, protect my family and me," Obama wrote. "Forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair. Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. And make me an instrument of your will."


Evidently thought it out, not a spontaneous prayer, looks like he wrote it at the hotel.

you guys are something else-

as if that widely circulated poster with bush, cheney and powell sitting at the table as if they were about to pray was "authentic".

oh yes, cheney is definitely a man of much prayer!!!!


but we second guess a private prayer placed at a site that was not supposed to be tampered with by anyone, let alone released to the media, as something for the media.....
