Earphone translators to use in church
My pastor has asked me to look into getting some headsets to use for interpreting our services into Spanish. To clarify, these are the kind where the translator sits in a booth and the people sit in the pews and listen while the preaching is going on..much less distracting than having another person shouting in the front of the church :) We're wanting to start off with 5 or 6 at first. Recommendations?

Re: Earphone translators to use in church
Just bought two sets of Nady off of ebay - 200 for the transmitter and four receivers - extra receivers are about 50 per. It's the 800 series which transmits on the assistive listening fm band.
Musiciansfriend.com carries the PEM500 - actually designed as an in the ear monitor but used for translation. Multiple frequencies etc - had a sale - 200 for transmitter and 1 receiver, 50 for extras. |
