There are many that preach against slits of any kind in a woman's dress. Now reveation has come and in order for continuity there are some brethren now preaching against the slits in mens suit jackets....this is amazing and will most probably bring revival to the struggling home missions work...more later!

Well, this makes perfect sense, since a slit in the back of a jacket can potentially reveal a man's backside for a split second, if he takes extremely long strides, and also turns in an odd sideways direction with each step.

(Disclaimer: The flash of pant-covered hiney will only be seen by children and very, very short people, but this doesn't matter, as they too must be protected from licentious displays of flesh.)

Oh boy, are we men going to start wearing black and white again year round because colors are not of God. Oh, and your necktie reminds me of a pimp (in the black apostolic church) so take that off too. Oh boy, let me get my needle and thread out and start sewing the splits up in the back of my suits.

I actually think you underestimated the danger. When I talk to my slit hating brethren they assure that the natural inclination for all men is to look at the slit in a womans dress no matter what the length. Since I was told this startling fact I must admit I now look at all women in a dress to see if I am tempted...so far no luck BUT I am sure one day I will find what I am supposed to be looking for.

By stating my personal experience you can see what a brief glance through a shuttered slit in a suit jacket might do to the mind of the vertically challenged. The truth of the matter is that one of superior verticality may even be tempted to stoop to the level of sin aforementioned. You see then how your warning, although well intentioned does not convey the severity of the sin in question.
