Strange Beliefs - Or Even Funny!
 

A friend of mine told me of an incident that happened in their family and I thought it was just too much.

The family was gathered for a holiday and they were serving specialty coffee and a sister-in-law wanted to taste her brother-in-law's coffee to see if she liked it.

The mother (of the son) had a fit because she felt that displayed a spirit of adultery!

Wonder how many other strange or even funny beliefs are out there?

I was telling my MIL that My daughter and I might audition for Beauty and The Beast which is in a local theater. She said, "I can't believe that you would do that!", I have done a lot of theater and I am always careful about my choices and she has never had a problem with before, so I asked her why. She said, "You know what Beauty and the Beast is REALLY about don't you?"

Ever hear of the "rib" doctrine. Basically, a man can get another wife because he got the wrong "rib" in the first place. A lot of marriages here in the south have broken up because of it.

I have heard so many jokes about it.

"just because you got a bad rib does not mean you can go back and take a whole rack!"

LOL - - I've never heard of that! How do they determine if the rib is bad? Do a DNA testing of it? :snapout

More than one preacher saying "You cannot be perfect". Strange indeed.
