Lucifer

We know from the temptation of Christ, that Lucifer knows the scriptures... If he knows from scripture that his destiny is the lake of fire, why does he continue to deceive and rebel against God? I am referring to the time he is loosed after the 1000 years and goes to deceive the nations of Gog and Magog once again. Why doesn't he repent? Is repentance not available to him?

Correct, repentance is not available to him.

Think he would repent, if he could?

That's one of the benefits of being human. There has been a sacrifice made worthy of our salvation and we now have repentance available to us.

Lucifer cannot repent and I don't believe he would if he could.

what grounds does God have to punish Lucifer if he can't repent? Lucifer is bound for 1,000 years and put into a bottomless pit. Revelation says he must be loosed for a season. Why?

I'm not so sure that an opportunity for repentance wouldn't be available to him. He just wouldn't take it......

Who says God has to have "grounds" for what He does? (Besides me!) He killed children. Ordered His army to kill babies. Burns billions of people in hell for the "sin" of never hearing His "Gospel". But hey. He's God. He can do what He wants.
