The Most Beautiful Sunset

Tonight as Bro. & Sis. Jim Griffin and I sat on the patio at Gloria's Mexican Restaurant listening to '70's beach music', the most beautiful sunset appearred. Set against the gentle breeze and Lake Ray Hubbard...it was a work of art.

God's handiwork is totally awesome.

Blessings, Rhoni

My wife, children, and I spent a week on Martha's Vineyard several years ago. We went to one of the beaches to see the much lauded sunset. It was so spectacular that everyone there applauded, and there was quite a crowd gathered. It was seriously beautiful!

What is funny is that someone said it is a sin to stroll the beach on another thread...that is so ridiculous to me as that is where I feel closest to God.:friend

Someone actually said it is a sin to stroll the beach? I must have missed that one!

I agree about feeling close to God. I look at the ocean and all its power and think about how only God could orchestrate something that magnificent. Think about the tide and how the ocean knows it can only go so far. When looking around at the beauty of nature, I truly wonder how one can doubt the existence of God.

Actually, what was said by a poster is that HE used to believe that was a sin. He clarified that his church doesn't teach against it, that it was a conviction that he once held.
