Help on Hair

Someone asked my advice on hair. I do NOT want to start a thread discussing Hair, cut, trimming, uncut , holy magic, or any thing AT ALL.

If you just post links, i'll be 100% happy. If ya'll want to argue some more, that's fine, but that's not what I want.

What I told her was to read scriptures, pray, ask God to lead her, then do a full study, or look for other full studies.

I found a very good "pro-cut" article. I told her not to assume it is the truth, because anyone can write an article on just about anything, and be convincing.

Infact I can find several "pro-cut" articles with some good research and logic to give to her, but I don't want to flood her with one sided view.

The point - What I need is a links, or a very good post with facts, logic, history, research and not just a bunch of "i feel this", or "this means this" without offering some type of proof.

I don't mean that slanderous, I'm just serious. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places or searching with the wrong words. :) I know the conclusion I come up with when I did this research, but I want this person to feel they looked at it all, and came up with what they feel is the right choice.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Might be tough to find a lot against hair cutting on here, but good luck in finding all the info you are looking for.

Newman has some good stuff, but I'm not sure it has ever been posted on AFF.

All ANYONE has is their opinions of what scripture means.

I would suggest NO articles. Just a Bible and a concordance. No one else's opinions to color personal interpretation.

And continue to pray as you study.

I did :)

She wanted some more depth, or research. Trying to give her articles that make sense and don't have alot of "personal interpretation" in them. Although of course - that's impossible, but close to the mark as I can get.

Edit: She did read and use a concordance, but she felt it didn't satisfy her.
