Why do Pentecostals teach against wearing color.

For example:

1. Make-up

2. Coloring hair

3. Colored nail polish

Is there a scripture to back this teaching up?

Strange to me.........God loves color! He made us all different colors. He could have made the world in all beige, but He chose to color it all colors of the rainbow. I doubt that He's against a little color here and there if it makes a person feel/look better!

So if you were a master artist, and your finished creation was painted on a billion different canvas, would you be slapping the back of every wannabe, come-lately that took out a brush and added to your work?

I'm all about honoring God's creation, but He left some stuff up to us to add the finishing touches!
