A great interactive Electoral College Map

I found this the other day and it really is interesting to break down the scenarios and see what could happen in November. This really shows how important PA, OH, FL, MI, VA, and MO will be. That's where the election will be decided, IMO.

Hope you guys have fun tracking all of the numbers and scenarios.

Wow, McCain needs almost all the swing states to win.

It does a good job of keeping everything in perspective. I don't even pay attention to the national polls anymore. The key one's to watch are the battleground states and which way they break.

Well, it's a given that Barack Obama will win Illinois. That state is controlled by the Daley machine and Barack is controlled by them and his wife works for them. Hollyweird will vote for Barack and give him California. The weirdos in the upper east coast will go for Obama.

'Twill be interesting to see what happens on November 4th, whether Hollywood/the media/the unions/the GLBT/the abortionists/the greenies/PETA/the feminazis and such like prevail or what.

Interesting site and interesting map.

I checked Ohio since I live there.
First time Ohio appeared on the map was 1804.
Ohio appeared on that map 51 times and only 9 times did the one who won the presidency not win Ohio. Last time someone won the Ohio vote but did not win the presidency was in 1960 when Nixon won Ohio but Kennedy won the election. Ever since then, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004 the person who won Ohio was the one who won the presidency.

Oh wow!! Look at 1984. (I was just 9 then, so I only vaguely remember Reagan's speeches.) The whole country was red except 2 states.
