Dear Lord.....!
 

Every evening
As I'm lying here in bed
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head

God bless my mom and dad
And bless my little pup
And look out for my sister
When things aren't looking up

And God, there's one more thing
I wish that you could do
Hope you don't mind me asking
But please bless my computer too?

Now I know that's not normal
To bless a mother board
But just listen a second
While I explain to you 'My Lord'

You see, that little metal box
Holds more to me than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest all of my 'BEST FRIENDS'

I know for sure they like me
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Is how I travel to where they live

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you
I share in what life brings them
From that our friendship grew

Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless this scrap of metal
That's filled with so much love!

Did you writer that? It is wonderful and so true...I travel around the world through this forum and see other's lifestyles and needs...I have fallen in and out of love, and fallen in like with all you wonderful people, except some of the posse which I respect but don't like too much.:evilglee

Anyway...wonderful prayer.

Dear Sis. Rhoni,

No I didn't write this. The man who sent it to me this morning, used
to work for our son. His wife has MS and he had to retire. I have stayed
in touch with them via e-mail. I have watched him go from being a very
discouraged and withdrawn human, (because of life's stuggles), to send-
ing me funny, humorous, plus good insightful articles, to prayers and reli-
gious emails, just because of having someone who cared enough to inter-
act with and make him still feel like intelligent and useful. I know this was
a long run-on sentence but!!!

Jesus said "Go into all world and ________ the gospel to every creature,
..... Well preaching isn't all there is. There is loving and encouraging and
caring and a whole lot more. Without love, all the rest is sounding brass
and tinkling cymbals. In other words,. a lot of noise. Let us love one
another, for love is of GOD!

Hugs,( I've been blessings for a long time now. I've gotten closer
to my brothers and sisters on AFF, so I have started to give some hugs,
along the way!!:friend LOL!!
