Has Anyone Heard Of Misty Edwards?
 
I just found her on Youtube last night. I am just amazed at this music. It is great and glorious, pure worship! I have hardly in all my Christian life found any music that is any more hard hitting and fervent.

I put a video in the Music section but this is to good to not be seen by those on the forum who like this kind of praise.

I'm pretty sure she led worship at The Call in Nashville on 7/7/07. She was amazing!

Isn't Misty Edwards part of IHOP in Kansas City? (International House of Prayer, not the pancake joint!!!)

Unfortunately, no. I hope to attend one year...Misty's just one of my favorite artists so I keep up with it. And yes, she's apart of the IHOP in Kansas.

To second Michael, I'm recommending this ten minute clip to anyone and everyone out there. Her music isn't light and fluffy, but it hits you where it needs to. Her love for God is so transparent and she's purely about worship-awesome.

I have always liked the heavier type music she does. Yet so many groups I have heard or seen like that do songs that dont always keep the focus on WORSHIPPING Jesus. I have listened to about ten songs since last night. And yes the worship is always going up. Her group does remind me of Hillsong only with a bit more punch perhaps.

Im 55 and nothing blesses me any more than to see thousands of young people FERVENTLY worshipping Jesus.

Kind of reminds me of my days in the Jesus Movement.
