They are now saying from Fox News that the Metro-Link engineer did not stop for a red light.

I've ridden that train a time or two. Used to live in Chatsworth just down the road from where this happened. This is tragic.

They still had not finished searching the train but are not expecting any more survivors. A lot of injured people, and the death count by the coroner's office was 18. Pray for these families.

The NTSB or whatever officials claimed that hadn't yet spoken to Metrolink officials at the time I posted. If that happened, that's really a bad thing.
