Interesting video.
503 Rusk St, I'll try to remember to visit that address, along with this church if I ever come to the Houston area. |

I don't know who Justin Jones is, but I have been around this movement in the past of spiritual mapping and things just like this. I understand where they're coming from, but honestly, outside some who make the correlations of massive change, I haven't seen any real evidence of it making much of a difference at all.
Prophecies, new seasons, new levels, prosperity etc, etc, etc. I have seen it for years. It appeals to the hope nature in all of us and basically says that we have to work at it less and that God will do it miraculously. I believe that if we work hard at relationships and be what God has called us to be that we WILL be blessed and have favor in many circles. Marinating in the presence of God? Hmmmmm...strange term. I believe in anointing things etc, but I am also somewhat leary of "formulae" for God's moving. :D |

MOW ... Justin just passed a week ago at age 30 of an aneurysm. He is the son of an org minister ... there are several threads about this young man who is survived by his young wife and child.
Justin was the youth pastor at Grace until last year ... and then pastord in Austin until he went home. The term marinating does seem strange ... The stakes thing is highly symbolic ... I'm sure that's the intent here ... not a formulae ... I hope. |
