Well I am glad that this is done. The funds aren't for personal engrandisement. They should commensurate with all other qualifications. Many other factors as well. There is also misappropriation of funds that takes place many times.

We do need to be wise.

I am glad I am not one of them.

I do strongly believe in tithing but I believe it is for the entire Levitical tribe symbolically seen as those who minister in the local assembly.

I think it is better stated that it for the ministry.
I think if you have someone in a position in a church that works for the church and the people of the church they should be compensated for it. Rather it be an assistant pastor, youth pastor, music minister, toilet cleaner, whoever it is I think they should be compensated.

I rejoice that there are ministers who can draw a salary from a church,because a workman is worthy of his hire and I appreciate men and women who are bi-vocational.
I realize every church is not able to support a minister full-time.
Shamefully some people take advantage of their position,and abuse their office.
I rejoice when God blesses His called and ordained ministers.
