Wed. Night - Church was over at 11:15!
 

We didn't get out of church Wed. night until 11:15! Usually we are out by 8:30 or so, but no one wanted to leave. I had to get up really early to be at the hospital for my dad's surgery, so it wasn't a good night to be up late, but I was glad we had good church.

Meanwhile, in youth service in the back, they preached on the Holy Ghost baptism, and we had 10 teens get filled with the Holy Ghost! Some of them only come to youth service and their parents don't come, so it may be a shocker to them when the teens tell them.

We had a prophet in the house, from New Zealand. He prayed over everyone in the house that wanted prayer, and that was after he had preached about an hour. He prayed for and ministered to people for over three hours. He's 73 and wasn't a bit tired, because of the anointing.

Is that odd that you all get done by 12? Our Bible studies go on for hours. We start at 7:30 PM and end them at 11:30. Our services go from 7:30 and go until 11:30. When I first came into Church the pastor let us stay until the next morning. Please don't get me wrong Sister Sherri, I not disrespecting your service, I'm just taken back a bit that services don't roll on, and everyone let it flow.

Lord bless you and your husband who doesn't want to meet strangers when he comes to Lauderdale. :)

Whew! I'm glad I go to the church I go to. It starts at 9:00 on Sunday morning and we are out by about 10:15. One service a week. Sounds good to me. :)

When I was growing up, people made pallets of quilts between the pews for the kids to sleep on. Church lasted longer back in those days I think.
