Did you guys see that in the news? It's carrying tanks and rocket launchers with ammo

The coast of Somalia is very VERY well known for pirate activity. What I don't get is HOW they can allow such a transport without military escort...as though it was intentional

I didn't think it could have been intentional, but that is definitely plausible.

I was thinking about what the Russians response might be, wondering how long it would take for them to respond diplomatically or militarily.

We'll see.

You mean they should have had a military escort, especially in that part of the world?

Exactly. These guys are not stupid. They were transporting 33 tanks, RPGs and tons of ammo....huh?
