I miss good old PT....

I remember right before he left we got in a big fight, when ended in him calling me a typical hyper-critical pentecostal judge.

Does anyone else see the irony in that???

My how times have changed... (I'd probably be too liberal for him now!) :heeheehee

I'm not trying to be contentious here, but this "tube top" reference is just way out of line on dragging a person's character through the mud, rubbing his face in it, kicking him and drowning him.

It's not a very Christian way to go about it, IMO.

The point that he was conveying, is that he would do whatever it took to help someone get back in touch with God. Because I know them, I knew what he was talking about.

They are very giving and kind people. I don't agree with him on many issues, but there is one thing you can bank on - if you are in their vicinity, you will be fed and if you need a place to sleep it will be afforded.

He would never allow someone to remain on his platform in that garb. He was making a point on how far he would go to reach someone that thought they could not turn around and find God again.

Oh, that some of us would have that mindset!!!

Ole Pastor Tribble had a bunch of children,I can't remember how many they had exactly but they had a rather large family,I used to talk to him on the phone some.
