We got a phone call.......
 

from the doctor who fixed Walt's ruptured aortic aneurism 2 years ago. He called yesterday. Said he is the chairperson for the Fund Raising Committee for the American Heart Association. He called to ask Walt to "do a favor for him". (his words). He wants him to be the featured speaker at their huge annual banquet!!

Walt talked about it last night with me. He said that if Dr Schwann will let us do this "tag-team", then he'll be thrilled to be able to do it. He's so excited about having the chance to get the word out one more time telling what GOD DID!

Walt has to call Dr. Schwann back to get the details, including the date. Pray for us as we prepare for it. I think we have a few months to get nervous. hehehe. And pray that God will use this story to touch the hearts of many, many people at this banquet.

Awesome. It is not always the case that we can actually see the good that can come out of some of the worse situations in our lives.

We are so blessed!

First God answered prayers and healed Walt, leaving him here with us for whatever time we get to keep him.

And second because God has seen fit to allow us to be used by Him to share with others what He has done.

I say this very, very humbly because the truth is that to be used by God in ANY way at all is just a privilege. God, who did this wonderful miracle, does not have to use us. There are so many others who could do the job so much better. We are not in this for any glory, except for to bring glory and honor to God.

A little unknown woman, whohad been sick for many years, reached thru the crowd to just get a touch of the hem of Jesus' garments. That little act of desperate faith brought healing to this woman. More importantly, her act of faith has helped multiplied thousands to place their faith in the Lord down thru the ages. I rejoice with you in Walts healing. I further rejoice with you that the words you speak will give hope and inspire faith in those that hear. You and Walt are in the very place where you can help those in similar situations.
