During the brief appearance, Obama revealed the Halloween costumes his two daughters have planned. Ten-year-old Malia will be a fairy and 7-year-old Sasha has chosen to go trick-or-treating as a "corpse bride," he said.

and this is important because????

they sound just like half of the rest of the kids in the world. I'm not a fan of Obama and certainly won't be voting for him. But it definately won't be because of or not because of what his kids are wearing for Halloween.

Glad we don´t have halloween here in Brazil...however kids will be kids and I am sure there are a lot of those horrible costumes that will be worn by thousands of kids...I am scared of Obama but do not think his kids costumes has anything to do with politics.

We are living in the ending of an age...the stage is set...Obama may be one of the key players...Only God knows that at this moment.

sigh. its cute. But I just wish that no matter what it is, good or bad, that the kids of these politicians would be left completely alone.

You would think the politicians would want to leave there kids out of the public life. Obama should not even mention his children. Sara on the other hand parades her children out at most of her rallies. The latest incident yesterday. She walked on the stage with the new born baby, it's back to the crowd, then turning him holding him up and out at the crowd while walking across the stage, handing him to his sister in the crowd. Is Sara is using her kids for political gain??

She can't win.

If you NEVER saw the baby then she would be critized for having a newborn and not taking care of it.
