Dewey had been ahead in the polls with a double-digit lead, but the polling missed a swing in opinion that led to a Truman victory.

Could we see another egg-on-your-face moment for the media? It's happened more than once.

A pastor from the states called me this afternoon so worried about the election and our country. Whoever gets it sure will have lots of problems to worry about...
