Whats Makes A Preacher Anointed ?

How many times in church have you heard , someone say man that Preacher was Anointed. Then you might ask such a person making this statement , what do you mean ?
They might say that Preacher was Anointed cause He really was loud and stomped around ,or He preached really fast, or He really blasted those in sin.
You might even ask such people what did the Preacher preach on and what were His key points ? they might not even know ,but yet the Preacher was really anointed ?
What makes a preacher truly Anointed?
What are Biblical qualifications that we could equate with being Anointed?

Being passionate about the word you are delivering.

I do not believe it equates to screaminng, yelling and a snorting.

Delivered with love and care for souls. Not like you're mad that somebody tracked mud in on your carpets, ;-)

It seems many equate being Anointed with volume.
I went to a tent meeting once and the man was loud, and long winded and I couldn't tell you what was preached, but everybody jumped and screamed.
I made a mistake and knelt near a loud speaker, boy my ears were fried.
Also they used a horn of oil, and poured oil on people when they prayed for them.

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

I believe whom God calls, he annoints..

Now, how they deliver the preaching is a different matter all together.

I too, have heard so many equate anointing with loudness, or gymnastics..hehe

I have heard quiet preachers I know are 'anointed"

Just my 2 cents...

I agree. I find a truly anointed person will have a special quality to what they have ministered (word, exhortation, worship, counselling, etc.). You know you have heard from the Lord. You know you have been imparted life.

I find true anointings are rare.

Just because someone has ministered "truth" does not equate to an anointing. Just because the listeners have been emotionally effected, does not equate to an anointing. Just because someone has delivered a through teaching on the listeners pet doctrine does not equate to an anointing. Antics and volume do not equate to an anointing.

Amen!!

I was going to add that and I didn't. I know its anointed when it has changed ME..When that precious word makes contact with my heart and convicts me of my sin, when it compels me to be more Christlike. I love it!!!!

That is anointed preaching!!!!!
