The Witches " bible"
I am at work and got in a discussion about what "religion" Sarah Palin, is and Someone said that her Pastor was really railing against witchcraft . Then another person said he has pentegrams all around his house and is going to buy His wife the witches bible [ the funny one ? ]. Does anyone Have any clue what the difference in that would be. I do know that everyone up here has read the Harry Potter series is it related to that series ?

Never heard of it. Sounds like an abomination, even if it is "the funny one." Nothing I need to know anything about.

I will share what very little I know about the subject. Yes there are several witches' bibles on the market. Many different authors. Some deal in spells and such, others more in depth with the deep, deep witchcraft and beliefs. Do I study witchcraft? No. But I see nothing wrong with knowledge if used correctly and learning about others. I would not make it a habit to read it all the time. There are some books that make lite of watchcraft and its power. This may be the so called "funny one". It is another tool that opens the door for the devil. |

You might try googling, and see what comes up.

Re: The Witches " bible"
I have no idea what he's talking about...
I did google, the book that comes up wouldn't be considered funny, IMO. I did try finding a spoof and didn't find anything. I will say that no, nothing having to do with witchcraft has to do with the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter is purely fictional. While it does discuss spell casting, the discussion is *purely* fictional. As for what you're up against, I'd have to say nothing. I can't quite decide if you're saying the pastor has the pentegrams and such? Or someone else does? Either way, it's not you playing with fire, it's whoever it is you're discussing. It does depend on what the person you're talking to is practicing/studying. If they're studying wicca, or even most witchcraft, they will not try to convert you and they would *never* cast for you or concerning you, and ABSOLUTELY NEVER to cause you harm. However, some who study/practice witchcraft do delve into darker magick... Yes, even within witchcraft there's division and disunity. lol I'll also tell you that *you* will never convert a witch. Most witches I know are more informed about the history of the church, Christianity and the Bible (although maybe/maybe not on that last point) than most Christians I know. Only God can deal with a witch. Period. Don't meddle and try, you'll cause far more harm to their souls than if you just leave well enough alone. Just trust that God *can* and *will* deal with them. Be their friend...if you can avoid preaching most aren't opposed to the idea (and those who remained friends, without being preachy or trying to convert me, in spite of my path) played a very, very large part in God getting ahold of me. |
