Prophetic Word about the Election
 

Yesterday during our morning AM service, we had a time of prayer about election for President and the Prop. 8 here in California. As we prayed, we had a prophetic word about darkness coming to our land, but that God desired the Church to be a lighthouse and to shine, and many would see the light and come to the knowledge of the Lord.

I am not sure what others are experiencing, but there is a definite change in the spiritual climate of our country. But God's work and ministry will prevail.

What darkness coming to the land are you referring to and if WHO wins?

I think it's obvious this is a ref to the election of a Sen. Obama. Many Christians see the election of Sen. Obama as a very, very, bad thing.







But wouldn't be something if Sen. McCain wins?
Would that make the prophecy then null and void?

Obama is going to win, our nation will never be the same again after he and the Dems are done with it, we always talk about end times, Jesus coming back the end time revival etc. Now when it coming nobody wants it, we are to addicted to our lifestyle and comfort. Everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die, mentality.

I am not a pessimist, I am a faith preacher, but this must happen sometime, to someone, why do we think that we are any better than any other generation.

Me to, of course the word never defined what the Darkness was or meant, this is just my interpretation of it. But I would be the first to come to this forum and admit I missed it and would be glad as well.

Years ago I heard an old country preacher say this:

"Sometimes God will give you exactly want you want and then
beat the hell out of you with it"

Everyone in the church gasped! But if you think about it, it's true.

Dark days no matter who is President, I don't know what is going to happen but I know something is going to happen soon. Just a feeling [ not being prophetic a prophet could say what is coming. ] I do know that while I was praying awhile back I was very grieved in my heart and I saw only darkness. I pray Jesus counts us worthy to escape the coming wrath. I'm not trying to be a gloom and doom prophet.
