Diet Help!!
Anyone...Everyone...
Can you recommend a diet suppressant I can buy to help me jump-start this weight I need desperately to loose? I realize it's got to be a way of life. I just need help curbing the appetite. Some pastors and wives have gone to some "health clinics" for shots. Don't know much about that...besides there aren't any in my fair city! All advice will be appreciated. |

Detox your body of all the junk and it will make weight loss easier if you go through the cleaning out and cut any addictions to carbs, caffeine, sugar...etc. The weight loss during a liquid diet is encouraging and the detox phase is necessary JMO |

GOOD! You could lose 10 lbs alone from doing this. Don't get dependant on pills and shots and fads. Where do YOU think you are failing? |
Re: Diet Help!!
I sit at a desk all day.
Evening time is the worst. I want to eat the whole evening after I start relaxing. |

you have to keep your body fueled.. and of course you need to detox to cut out the carb/sugar etc cravings.... and start down a road of NON emotionally eating. |

Keep a food diary for a month, then look at where and what you can cut out. Cutting out just 500 calories a day (considering you are maintaining your current weight) will make you lose 1 pound a week. Exercising regularly will help also.

Re: Diet Help!!
Get rid of any empty carbs.....good carbs are fine....but sugar, white flour. Eat plenty of good carbs though. Bad Carbs trigger an insulin spike and high insulin levels cause fat storage. A good book on this is Good Calories, Bad Calories, by Gary Taubes.
Bad Carbs->high insulin released-> fat storage. |
