Voter Turnout Same as 04

Turns out about the same number of people voted as 04... a few more Democrats and a few less Republicans.... 61.7 % of voters. So much for the hyped HUGE turnout and touted 70 - 80%

I am disgusted by this to say the least. However, it was obviously God's will. Just makes me sick.

I'm with you Ferd, I don't think high voter turnout is equal to a great election. I heard one man saying "I am 40 years old and this is the first time I have registered to vote." I don't think someone who bypasses multiple elections without a thought of voting is a great addition to the voting rolls.

I made the effort to vote knowing that every thing I was voting for or against was going to lose. (Obama v. Mcain, Steny Hoyer v. Collins Bailey, expanding gambling in MD, to help the children obviously and preparation for more voter fraud by allowing people to vote early and out of district) I was 0-4 but I did my duty and placed the results in God's hands. I feel like the Israelite who didn't want a king. I may have been right but God listens to the people.

I think the turnout was the same, but there was a shift perhaps in who came out and who didn't.

I know for sure that Memphis' black vote was up.
