Care to guess where this historical tidbit comes from, and to who it might apply today?

__________ had been one of the most prominent members of the Party's "socialist" faction. They largely rejected capitalism (which they associated with rich people), and pushed for nationalisation of major industrial firms, expanded worker control, confiscation and redistribution of the money of wealthy people, and social equality. Leaders spoke of a "second revolution".

Taken right from an article I read about Ernst Rohm and the beginnings and beliefs of the SA, the predecessor to the infamous SS.

The language, spirit and other ingredients parallel some the current environment that we find ourselves in.

I think I was watching CNN, and a guy was speaking something like the world is awaiting their messiah, and the guy was standing in front of a picture of Jesus..

crazy stuff... everyone I know is talking about CHANGE... WE NEED CHANGE...

Yeah, if we have the same govt. system in that yr. If I join the military now I can become a member of the next gestapo... J/k.. J/k... If the govt. is monitoring this, I'm kidding. Dont bust down my door.
