We Put Our Christmas Tree Up!
 

Call me crazy, but we put our Christmas tree up and decorated the inside of the house Sunday night. It is so pretty!

Anyone else jump the gun and decorate before Thanksgiving like we did?

no....we find ourselves overcome with the temptation to bow down and worship the devil-tree. JK.

Our family does this on Thanksgiving night.

We always do it just after Thanksgiving. I will be doing my outside lights this weekend.

I wonder how many will call us Pagan's?

The tree and decorations on the fireplace and entryway will wait until T'giving w/end when my daughter and her husband are in for the holidays so both daughters and sons-in-law will be here. I plan to decorate in the dining room some this week. I'm adding some new stuff in there this year. I love it! Can't wait to get it all done.

Tamor! I just went out to the shop and dragged in five tubs of Christmas decorations. I was looking for ribbon to tie around our gift basket sets at the store. Isn't it fun to see what you forgot about last year? I found a gorgeous 50 yard roll of wired gold embossed and cream ribbon - perfect for two gift boxes. I also found burgundy and gold mess ribbon for the others! Saved me a trip to town. Well, maybe not - still need green, red ribbon and a few more shrink wrap bags. Drat!

Forgot about my gold glitter feathers and my burgundy beaded tassels - tons of them. Don't know what I'm going to do with them, but I'll think of something! LOL!

My husband said, "NO tree up until after Thanksgiving!!" Wutever!! :toofunny I have to remove a huge floral arrangement in the corner where I put my tree. I walked in, looked at it and decided to wait until after Thanksgiving. LOL!

I just dug out My Sinatra Christmas music and blared it through the house.

My wife just screamed, No! Not yet!!!!

I love Sinatra Christmas music....

LOL! I'm listening to Lionel Richie, Vince Gill and Point of Grace Christmas CD's today! I have a Sinatra CD, not in the mood for him today. LOL!

Our easy listening station has already started playing Christmas music 24/7 - - I was surprised!

My son loves Christmas time and he had it playing this weekend in his truck.

I can't do the decoration until after Thanksgiving though - - just have to wait!
