Do you have a tape /cd ministry?
I have gone ahead and asked the Mrs for permission to ask about this. Permission granted so here I go.
I was wondering if any on the forum had a tape /cd ministry? I am in great need of some Holy Ghost Preaching / Teaching / Singing. I live up here in Massachusetts and we do not have alot of churches up here that have tape ministries. I'm the brother who posted in the prayer closet about having those 2 afflictions Syringomyelia and Arnold Chiari malformation. They both are rare and VERY painful. I have had to miss way too much church, for one reason or another and could use some encouragement. I have gone online and looked up some of our bigger UPC churches and praise the Lord they do have tapes / cd's but my disability income is very low as I am only 38 and did not work much before this injury came. I do not have the funds to buy any and I am NOT asking anyone to buy my any. I just thought if someone had a way to copy any that they had and would be willing to send them, it would do me much good and the Lord would bless. Tape /CD ministries are so important as way to minister those afflicted and cannot get out to every service and most importantly as a way to reach the lost also. I have never asked this before so forgive me if I asked wrongly. I did have a very small portable DVD player that was great for days I had to be in bed and I have 3 dvds from conferences. DVD broke - I think I burnt it out, LOL. By and by I will get another so even if your church has had conferences or revival or services on DVD and your willing to copy that would be great too. Most importantly I ask for your prayers. God has been good. 10yrs ago the doctors said that in 5 -6 yrs I would not be able to walk. Praise the Lord I can walk, drive and do all for myself apart from lifting. Everyday IS a gift and another chance to praise the Lord and try and win the lost for our King Jesus. I love the Lord and love all of you. Lord Bless. Bro. Lee If anyone is willing to help my direct email is distinctives123@verizon.net I check that a couple times a day so better to contact me thru that address and I can send mailing address. Again, I apologize if somehow I have offended anyone by this request. |
Re: Do you have a tape /cd ministry?
There are many of the churches that have live webcast of their services. An some will let you view archived services without a purchase. UPC Bossier City is one. Go to their "Live Webcast" link and from there you can go to Archived Sermons, Music, Praise, etc.
http://bossierupc.org/ I'm sure there are others they some here can lead you to. |
Re: Do you have a tape /cd ministry?
I have tried to get the webcasts BUT computer has no speakers. I got some speakers and tried to connect and all and nothing happened.

Re: Do you have a tape /cd ministry?
Bro. Lee, I will try to get in contact with Bro. Rutledge. He has many sermons in the MP3 format. He may have some CD's or DVD's. I will try to find the link.

This is the link to Bro. Rutledge's website. He does ask for a donation to the ministry I believe. But you never know if you contact him he might help you out. If you can get your speakers working you can watch and listen directly from the site. Do you have a dial up internet connection? The videos are not as hard to upload if you have cable or high speed internet. |

Bro. Lee, if you don't mind I will copy your original post and try to send it to Brother Rutledge. I am sure he might have some way to help you out.

Another option would be to buy a headset. You can find them for about $10 just about anywhere, and the quality is fine. (Unless you have a rough teenage son, then you have to replace them about 6 months or so!) :lol Either way, it's probably cheaper than replacing your dvd player. :santathumb Thanks to the AFF folks who are willing to help! :wave |
