The Christmas Shoes

Ok, I know this movie has been around for several years, but I had never seen it. I don't even like to listen to the song, but for some reason I turned on Lifetime tonight and the movie was starting. I have cried so much now my eyes are all puffy and I can't go to bed until my face clears up or I will look AWFUL in the morning!!!!

Has anyone else seen this movie? It's a real tear-jerker.

I love all those unrealistic Christmas movies.
I think the Family Channel has one every night until Christmas day. I have lots of VHS tapes of previous made for TV Christmas movies. They're all designed to invoke our emotions. Have a hanky when you watch them.

Not sure if I've seen The Christmas Shoes.

I have the movie on DVD. My daughters got it for me last year for Christmas. I cried every time I heard the song... cried so much during the movie I used nearly a whole box of Kleenex... but I'm sure I'll watch it again this year. It's kind of a tradition around here for us to watch all the sappy tear-jerker Christmas movies. Well, at least the girls and I watch them....

I have the book, and have put off reading it--and now I dont know where it went!

It's probably easier to just rent the movie!

I love tear jerkers! I always cry!
