AT LAST! - We're only preaching in one location!
 

This is the first time in seven years that we have only been pastoring ONE CHURCH at a time. Today is the first Sunday that we haven't traveled between churches. I feel so free; I don't know what to do with my afternoon. I have a roast cooking in the crockpot and am getting ready to get out Christmas decorations. For three years, we pastored Adamsville and Jackson. Then Jackson and Savannah. Then we pastored Jackson, Savannah, & Cordova all at the same time. Then just Jackson & Cordova. Now.........just Jackson!

Please, Lord, don't let Eddie get any ideas about starting any new churches at least for a few months. We need a break!:nutso

Did Cordova get a new pastor?

I dont know how you all did what you did. I am finding it hard just to do one church.

So I can under how you must be welcoming the extra time. I am glad it all worked out for you guys.

Brad Williams, who was doing the music there, is the new campus pastor. But it will be a video venue like Savannah on Sundays. They are having small groups and/or prayer service midweek.

That must be a big relief! I can't imagine doing all that every Sunday!! I am too committed to my Sunday nap! LOL! :christmoose

Sheri, I am very happy for you and Eddie.

I assume that the reason this change could be made is because God has been blessing and these other places have someone else there to pastor/oversee them?

Can you believe that people have said in all seriousness, that God is not blessing anymore in our days? They just need to look at what He is doing thru you folks.

Yes, thank the Lord! They have "Campus Pastors" who take care of midweek services and they facilitate the Sunday services. Everything is live (music, etc.) but the preaching is Eddie on the big screen. It's been very successful in Savannah; we're hoping it will be the same in Cordova. All of our other churches have a "normal" pastor. LOL!
