Job cuts at Chase....
 

I work for Chase and they just announced that we are cutting just under 400 jobs, most of them are people I know well. It is a tough day for me and my friends. Remember those in your prayers. They have 60 days, but it is tough with happening around Christmas.

Prayers are going up for all of us as we head into this economic downfall. The Bible tells us that God will supply all our needs and I believe He will. We may have to tighten our belts, unify our resources, and stop building bigger barns until Jesus comes but He is Jehoveh Jireh!

My son-in-law works at Chase in LA. Business has been slow. It is a time to trust God. The medical business I was employed by was sold in June and I have been unemployed, also. Our area is tight, but, God...! :christmasfire

Thanks God for now my job is safe. This position I am in now I have been in for 2 months and my previous job was the one that got cut so God's hand was on me for sure...thanks for Grace and Mercy!

Just drove into the big city today to shop, (Spokane WA) I was surprised at just how many business have gone out. Another thing I counted 25 homes for rent in our local paper yesterday,these homes are owner homes who can't make their payments. Only one help wanted add for a part time nurse. Many here are living and moving to the bigger city trying to find work, there just no jobs! Are unemployment is 7% the worse ever.

I work for another bank and we're in a huge merger. There's a lot of uncertainty in the air right now because we all know that cuts are coming, even though they've not been announced. Please keep financial workers and technical support teams in your prayers. I've not seen it this bad in decades...
