Ladies Bible Study

Do you have a Ladies Bible study?

If so, how often do you meet?

Do you have the same teacher or does someone different each week teach?

Do you meet at night or day or weekend?

Do you teach on different subjects are have a series?

If you don't have one what would you want out of a Ladies prayer meeting?

I don't make a very good "lady" but, my wife does a study - generally on Thursday afternoons... She has used Sis Haney's study, and currently uses a study "Women of Acts" that she and her mother wrote.

Re: Ladies Bible Study

When Baron was at Regent we had a little group of wives whose husbands had gone MIA for 3 years and we went according to their (the guys) semester. There was one leader, but 3 studies going on at a time. We did "peacemakers", Captivating, Personality Plus, Love and Respect. The nice part was that we all had being married in common, but e were all in different places. Some of us worked, some of us stayed home, some had no kids, older kids, and toddlers.

Hope that helps!

I think it is a good idea to hold it at the same time there is a man's Bible study happening, thus minimizing the squeeze on family time, unless the family can't afford baby sitters.

I think you should have different moderators each week, giving everyone an active role in the meetings.

That is why my wife has the studies in the afternoon rather than evening.

Just a suggestion:

1Th 4:11 And that ye [women] study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands [doing dishes and such like], as we [men] commanded you;

Just a thought to liven this thread up a bit.
